How the earths core is related to hanmer springs and more information

We are going on camp to hanmer springs in a few days and I so exited. All the classes that are going are researching all sorts of information and I have learnt quite  a lot about the earths core and we had to create a vocab task on a word. And since I know so much about the earths core you best believe that is the word I chose. So do you want to see it (of core se  you do sorry to interrupt but see what I did there core se the earths core I will stop now okay back to it) you don't but I am going to show you anyway) Here is the picture that has all the information on it.

Hanmer springs Legend

I am so exited in 5 days we are going to hanmer springs on camp and this week we are soaking up a lot of information about hanmer. So we can answer any question we are asked today we created a google doc on a Maori legend and it was so fun to make. We choose the legend about a warrior called Tamatea and how he travelled the north island. (I know that there are red underlined words because I did not spell them right but that is how they are spelt) Here is a pic check it out. 

ANZAC Biscuits

Yesterday we made ANZAC biscuits  

Ingredients:

  1/2 cup flour 

  1/3 cup sugar

  2/3 cup coconut 

  1/2 teaspoon soda

  3/4 cup rolled oats  

  50  grams of butter 

  1 table spoon golden syrup 

  2 table spoon boiling water 

Mix together flour,sugar,coconut and rolled oats. Melt butter and golden syrup. dissolve soda in the boiling water and butter and golden syrup.make a well in the centre of your dry ingredients,stir in the liquid.place in spoonfuls on a cold greased trays.Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at l80 degrees Celsius.And then you some Delicious Anzac biscuits to eat.

WILD BOY (bronze level work)

Hi as you probably know my name is Lilly. This week we have been looking at the wild boy and his amazing story of his childhood and how he changed his life and what to do to get back on track in. term 3 week 3

KIA ORA my name is Lilly. I have done my maths for the week, we had to do a maths sheet that had all these questions about fractions and we had to solve them.  Some of them were hard to do and some of them were easier to do, the hard ones took me a while. Some of them took me a couple of minutes some a couple of seconds. Here is an image.

This week I have done 2 chapter chat activities this week. Here is a photo of one of them. I have done 2 of the same ones and I have changed the words, coloured them different colours, Here is the first one

 and here is the second one but the purpose of this was to colour him in and write things about him, around him. Here is the second one 

This is my word work for this week. I had to make up my own words and then make them into what ever we wanted. Here is mine, I choose to do rainbow writing and here is my image of my word work (rainbow writing).

here is my work I have done on Sir  Peter Blake who you might recognise the name, he was murdered by pirates at the age of 53 and that is a moment that the kiwis will never forget he, was a fantastic kiwi role model to all kiwis here is my work on him here is the slide.

term 3 week 1

KIA ORA my friends i am doing another blog post new beginnings new term and the first thing I have done was a google slide about Peter Blake here is what i have done. 

This week i have started to get back into my creative side with my chapter chat, this term i have made a flag  that says defenders on it, for those who do not know i have started the book ghost if you have read it i bet it is a great book, because it has been for us so far anyway here is my flag.

I also had to do my maths follow up as you know this week we were learning  about volume and

term 2 week 4

 This week we had to make a slide presentation the purpose of this was to learn our spelling words and the meaning of them


this week i got my colours pencils out did a ms bixbys last day acrostic poem * the last bit had a star  here is a image i have taken of the piece here it is there is my teacher Mrs Clark in the background  great since it is ms bixbys last day and that ms bixby is a teacher

grey main cross country is on Monday 28 Th of may 2017 next week do not worry i have made adverting sheet for it you are allowed to print it here you are 

term 2 week 1s reflection

This week i have got back into my creative side with chapter chat this term we had to interview our Favourite teachers I choose to do the best teacher in the school Mrs Clark she is the best she is my teacher.I have asked here 15 questions . what I had to do was what I had to do was write down 5 up to standard rely rely good questions and i interviewed her and she answered every question. here it is.

I am also writing this week we had to do  a diamante poem about Anzac day we used word that describe  Anzac day the best her is a photo of my master copy on  my book. we had to make it in the shape of a diamond because that is the point of a diamante poem. here is my poem on Anzac day

 Here is my word work activity that I have done  we had to bubble write our spelling words and then draw the meaning inside of the words. it was really hard here it is. The purpose of this was to learn your words and the meaning 

end of the term reflection

KIA Ora and welcome to my end of the term reflection i have been doing a lot of Easter tasks these past weeks. this year we also had a rely nice girl her name was Zara she was teaching us for a couple of weeks but we were not allowed to call her by her real name Zara we had to call her miss gibbons and she was a great teacher this term and today we might see her today but it might not happen. because her friend died in a car crash last night.


OK enough time talking about miss gibbons next year i am aiming for a full licence that means that you can manage self and you are always prepared for learning i am on a restricted i will name a couple of things that you show to get a licence you can also  when you have a restricted licence you can show the grey main way at home and at school   and you are usually prepared for learning here is a photo of me and my licence

week 9s reflections

KIA Ora i liked doing the typing  skills this week next time I could do a lot more work and do a lot more of the  typing. I have done typing for week 9 and I found that I am getting better at it every week.why we had to do it because we were learning how to improve our skills on the key board  

KIA Ora  this is my recycled creature i liked making the recycled creature out of recyclable thing at home. Maybe you could try making a creature one day.When i  tried it one day i did not know what to do and how to glue it on the piece of paper. when i did it it wasn't easy it was hard. 

week 8s work

 Here is this weeks mining questions that i have done this weeks in week 8 thank you very much hope you enjoy this slide. I posted my mining questions because i rely liked it was my Favourite  thing to do this week. I am most proud of how much i know about coal mining. I think i need to work on how much work i put on one page and my punctuation
